[Man]goes to Brain

Comparing and contrasting. Something many of us do every single day. Be it while writing essays, showering, sleeping, writing this blog right now, etc. We compare and contrast the choices we have to pick from. And we wondering about choices we could have made. There so many memes about wondering in the shower about an argument, life choices, or something stupid that was said.

I am writing about this because I couldn't decide what to write for my blog and I was having a mental breakdown. I feel like it all started in 7th grade when I came. Now, I have ended up no one to talk toabout my worries and having to beg my parents to let me sleep on my problems.

The surprising thing is that I almost always get solutions to the hardest of my problems when I sleep or take a nap on it. I literally take naps during math contests. There is this on Russian math contest, TOT, where I used to just sleep for 2 hours out of the 4 (it worked).

One of the most important characteristics of being an excellent leader is being able to "compare and contrast" effectively. Effectively also means that the leader has confidence in his decisions. It reminds of AP Bio tests and quizzes, where there are multiple answers that could be right. It is about the "comparing and contrasting" and knowledge.

A good example of this can be seen during World War II. The Germans had lower resources than their opponents. So, strategies played a large role in the war to come. During the 1930s, there heavy debate between executives and researchers of the Luftwaffe. Should pursue the development of high altitude strategic bombers (& fighter, I think) or dive bombers. Many were in favor of the dive bombers (like the Junkers Ju 87). This supported their cause in the early war when their enemies were unprepared and the Blitzkrieg was heavily due to these dive bombers. However, later, when fighting the Russians and the British, the Germans were stuck in a longer war. The dive bombers were slow and vulnerable during their dives. The Germans didn't have sufficient and adequate bombers to affect the enemies' production. Meanwhile, the German cities and factories were getting pummeled. The Germans didn't have many high altitude fighters either. Hitler, especially, was very vivid in terms of his "tide turning" weapons.
If Germans had been a bit more practical, then maybe the would have "won". I don't mean to say that the Germans wasted resources elsewhere and were impractical, like the concentration camps, usage of slaves, and mistreatment of the citizens of their conquered states. Many of citizens of the states that were conquered from the Soviets initially saw the Nazis as liberators. They could have supplied the Germans with more resources and manpower. It would have also increased morale.

Man[goes] to Disparity

I have spent 1 1/2 days trying to get ideas for my blog, but I struck out. So, I will be talking about that is pretty prominent in The Great Gatsby, the disparity of a person's "wealth."

The novel shows that the disparity in wealth not only affects how well off one is but also their behaviour.  We see Daisy and Tom flaunting their wealth and being arrogant. But, this wealth also drives their decisions on relationships, marital, in Daisy's case. On the other hand, Gatsby who was just the son of a poor farmer, thought he could attain everything with wealth. While he could attain his massive house and exquisite clothes, he could never attain love. Meanwhile, Nick is in neither of the extremes and just wants to be able to live pretty well off while focuses on a person's intentions, and so on.

Going on about being materialistic, Myrtel cheats on her husband mostly because of Tom's wealth. As mentioned in one of the analysis packets, we also see that she is more sexually aggressive than the wealthier women. Apparently, drive for wealth heightens all modes of comprise in sense. Myrtel gives her body to Tom in exchange for his money.

My opinion, for instance, is that this is actually true. We see people who through their life out to get wealth. We see people suing other to gain their wealth. It has actually become a habit for doctors to convert their money "wealth" into material possessions so that when do get sued, they declare bankruptcy, and their insurance pays the money for them. It is important to not let money drive your emotions and actions. Kind of hypocritical coming from me, because when I research careers, I give quite a bit of importance to the salary. But I have realised that things that give the most money or the most fame are not always the most appeasing.

Man[goes] to Individual's Realm

I am writing this because of something that happened this weekend.
We criticize warfare, murder, assassination, rape, and violence, in general.
But, what about mental violence and abuse. Many people think its the solution to mean comments and rumours is to just avoiding and not caring about them. Like what the f***, man? It's not that easy. Why don't you go through once huh. Get most of your school social life ruined by only a couple of spiteful b******.
Like one gets used to it. You get surprised when somebody says something good about you or is nice to you. Then you start being pessimistic:

Is the person trying to put up a fake front? Is he/she trying to take advantage of me (no Elliot, non that's not what I meant)? A twisted prank? Is he/she doing to look good in front of others? Ahhhhhh, f*** life!

And, the severity also depends on the pre-determined mental differences. It's hard to imagine how a person with really, really severe anxiety that often comes from severe ADHD would deal with this. You get stuck in this mental state (like Gatsby).
You thought that was it, didn't you! Oh no, no, no! There's more. There's then people who look at the people who are affected by this sadness and just think "Look at the sad prick. Why is he so negative?"

I was just listening to Logic's new song OCD (not that good) and the last line was "social media may cause depression" and it's so true. Life is all mental. You see people with no limbs achieving what is thought to be impossible. Finally reached over 250 words.

Anyway, life is all mental. The decisions from the representatives of the masses cause the countries activities. The mental war between these representatives cause international tensions and sanctions. Knowledge is one of the things that leads to power. It is not power. This is why languages are important. To convey your opinions, fueled by your opinions.

SOCIAL MEDIA MAY CAUSE DEPRESSION

Man[goes] to Song of Solomon

In the spirit of Halloween, this blog will be written from the perspective of Hagar's ghost.
I would like to talk about the ending since it was kind of confusing for me. I actually thought that there was going to be a fist fight between Guitar and Milkman. Like Milkman leaps to run towards Guitar and Guitar lays his gun down.

----------------------------------------------

Yes, jump off Milkman. Then, we can be together as ghosts. You will be mine. Muhahahaha!

No. don't fly. No, please no. Don't fly Milkman! No, take me with. Oh wait I can fly. But wait, why is he not paying attention to me. Am I not beautiful enough. Milkman look at me. Please look at me!

----------------------------------------------

She would probably forget that she was a ghost since she would be overwhelmed by her parasitic love for Milkman. Yeah, that's the right word. Parasitic. She is a parasite. She cannot live without Milkman's attention. Kind of ironic, how she is a ghost and is parasitic, and she doesn't have Milkman's attention.

----------------------------------------------

Look at me Milkman! Please! Please... please.. plz (Starts crying)

----------------------------------------------

I feel like that would the rest of the journey. Milkman doesn't really acknowledge Hagar or her death. He straight up yeeted the thoughts of comforting her that he developed earlier in the woods when he decided to tell Pilate that she was carrying her dad's bones. Like Milkman has a carefree heart even if it is sort of mocking Hagar's broken heard.

Saying "kaputt" (means broken) to describe anything is kind of like a joke in our German class, or it was in earlier levels. Broken heart. I mean like a heart can't break right. It should be more of like ripped because that's what it feels (heh it doesn't have to love, like I haven't experienced love).
